Columbia Gutter Installation Co. is a family-owned and operated, licensed and insured seamless gutter company based in Columbia, SC, working on homes here since 2014. The same 7-person crew handles every job, with 12 years of hands-on experience behind it.
Why we only do gutters
Roofers hang gutters at the end of a roof job, and painters and handymen will put up a run when asked. Both can do fine work. A company that does only gutters thinks about different things, though: how much roof drains to each outlet, where the valleys dump, how the hangers bite into old fascia, and where the water goes once it leaves the downspout. In a city that gets about 45 inches of rain a year, those details matter.
Forming a run on siteWhat we do and what we do not
We do: seamless aluminum gutters in 5- and 6-inch K-style, half-round gutters in aluminum and copper, gutter guards, downspouts and extensions, buried downspout drain lines, fascia board replacement behind the gutters, and gutter repair.
We do not: roof replacement, structural repairs, crawlspace encapsulation, French drains for whole yards, or yard grading. When a job needs one of those, we tell you and suggest the right trade.
How we work
- Every quote is measured on site and written, with footage, size, color, downspout count and extras listed line by line.
- Gutters are formed on our trailer machine in one piece per eave.
- Hidden hangers are screwed into the fascia, not nailed with spikes.
- We replace soft fascia before hanging new gutters on it.
- We notify SC811 before any digging for drain lines.
- We hose-test each run before we leave and haul away the old gutters.
Resetting hangers on an older runWhere we work
We work across Columbia on both the Richland and Lexington County sides, and in Forest Acres, Woodfield, Dentsville, St. Andrews, Seven Oaks, Irmo, West Columbia and Cayce. Houses and drainage differ from one to the next, and the service area pages cover them one at a time.
